As a native Calgarian, I was always exposed to the Oil and Gas industry. As such, I attended the University of Alberta, completing a Bachelor of Science in Geology in 2013. The end of my degree coincided with the economic downturn and after struggling in the oil and gas industry for a few years, I decided to pursue my interest in architecture.
In fall of 2016 I began the Architectural Technologies program at SAIT. I greatly enjoyed the classes, and was lucky enough to gain summer employment at Stantec in 2017. This experience was invaluable as I gained industry skills and knowledge, contacts and a clearer view of my career goals.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time in the mountains with my dog, traveling with my husband, and experimenting with my cooking skills. You can often find me stuck in a good book, enjoying board games, or playing volleyball and slo-pitch with friends.
